He's tossed into a world of super-powered beings tasked with protecting humankind from dangers they're wholly unaware of. You can imagine the effect that that would have on a normal man, let alone one who is trying to figure out his place in a world that he didn't think he was truly a part of. Though, if I'm being honest, it's rough to see him struggle with who and what he is now.įor those who don't remember, Dave lost a woman he loved, gained powers he never asked for and ended up killing a man in cold blood. I can't tell you I was clamoring for a book that centered around Dave, but man am I glad we got one. ![]() ![]() Absent are the main cast of characters, but we spend the course of Windweaver following Dave as he searches for a place that can help him deal with the fallout of his newfound power and his actions in the previous book. ![]() I've been following this series from the get go, and have read (and loved) every entry. ![]()
